GraVITas ’24 – started off with a bang, with a range of interesting events, such as “Sound of Light – A Laser Show,” which was an exhilarating experience for VITians, as this was the first time that this fusion of music and lasers took place on our campus.
“Sound of Lights” created an atmosphere of trance in the auditorium. The audience was mesmerised through the symphony of sight and sound as vibrant lasers danced to the rhythm of unforgettable music. It was a journey through an explosion of colours, guided by beautiful melodies, while conveying a message to the audience.
There was not a single dull moment during this explosion of colours. Everyone was spellbound and had immersed themselves completely into the spectacular fusion of cutting-edge lasers and vibrant light displays. It was difficult to judge whether the heart-thumping music complemented the dazzling visuals or if it was just vice versa.
VIT Gravitas 2024 – created an unforgettable experience for everyone with this laser show. It was not just another event, but something that left everyone breathless. Each beat and each note of music synchronised well with the dazzling array of colours, creating an unforgettable experience. Guided melodies and the dance of lights transported everyone into a different world – like the “world of Harry Potter or the magical world of Narnia.”

Robowars:
Stepping into the world of VIT Gravitas, 2024, is like opening the door to a realm where innovation, creativity, and intellect blend seamlessly. This annual fest has evolved into a dynamic platform, showcasing cutting-edge technology, inspiring ideas, and a plethora of events designed to challenge and engage the brightest minds.
The Robowars event, organized by the Robovitics club of VIT during the Gravitas 2024 celebration, was nothing short of electrifying. Innovation met adrenaline as powerful robots clashed in a high-energy battle of strength, strategy, and engineering prowess. Combat robots weighing 8 kg, 15 kg, and even 60 kg went head-to-head in a frenzy of combat, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in robotics. These combat robots, meticulously designed and built by passionate engineers, brought a sense of excitement and anticipation to the audience.
