VITMUN’25: Where Your Voice Matters

Expanding young minds with global perspectives and essential life skills is a core mission of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). The VIT Model United Nations (VITMUN) exemplifies this vision.

Organized by VIT’s MUNSoc Club, VITMUN reflects VIT’s focus on leadership, skills, and networking beyond academics, enriching its vibrant campus culture.

As an international platform, VITMUN brings together school and college students to learn, practice, and develop expertise in diplomacy, negotiation, and problem-solving. More than a conference, VITMUN is an experience that shapes the leaders of tomorrow.

Over 500 delegates from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds came together in March for VITMUN’25, making it one of the India’s premier MUN conferences. The event featured seven dynamic committees, each designed to challenge participants with complex global and national issues. Discussions ranged from international security and human rights to policy-making and crisis management, encouraging thoughtful engagement and solution-driven conversations.

Beyond debates and well-researched agendas, VITMUN fostered networking and cultural exchange, allowing delegates to connect, share diverse viewpoints, and build lasting friendships. The environment balanced competition and collaboration, inspiring students to learn, lead, and grow together.
